Privacy policy

Last updated Monday, October 12, 2026. This policy explains what DailyGameClub (run by RHMC) collects and why.

Playing as a guest

Your progress on each puzzle is kept in your own browser (local storage) so you can come back to it. We record that a puzzle was started and finished, with the time taken, without linking it to you.

Accounts

An account needs only a username and a password. We never ask for an email address or phone number. We store your username, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password, of your six-digit recovery PIN and of your backup recovery key, your puzzle results and achievements, and when you last visited. Nobody, including us, can read your password, PIN or backup key. You can delete your account and everything linked to it at any time from the account page.

Cookies

When you sign in we set one cookie that keeps you signed in. It is needed for the account to work and is not used for anything else.

No tracking or analytics

We don’t run any visitor tracking or analytics of our own: no page-view counting and no Google Analytics.

Advertising

The site is paid for by ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads, including personalised ads, based on your visits to this and other websites. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google’s certified consent message first. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Children

The site is meant for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts need no personal details.
