About Mini Golf
Mini Golf brings the seaside putting course to your screen. Each hole is a small green with walls to bank shots off, round bumpers that kick the ball away and slopes that drag it downhill. Drag back to set the line and the strength, let go, and try to sink it in par or better, while sand and water wait for loose shots. The daily course picks nine of eighteen holes.
How to play Mini Golf
- Drag back from anywhere on the course, away from where you want the ball to go: the dotted line shows the direction and the ring the power. Let go to putt.
- Walls bounce the ball, round bumpers kick it away, arrows show which way a slope pushes, sand slows the ball and water costs a penalty stroke.
- Keyboard: left and right arrows aim, up and down set the power, Space putts.
- Each hole has a par; after six putts the ball is picked up and the hole counts seven. The daily course is nine of the eighteen holes; scores are saved on this device.
Tips & strategy
- Use the walls: a bank shot at the right angle is often shorter than going round an obstacle.
- Softer putts are easier to control near the hole; the ball drops only when it is moving slowly.
- Slopes push harder on a slow ball, so aim a little uphill of the line you want.
- Treat bumpers with care: they add speed and send the ball off at sharp angles.
Mini Golf: questions and answers
What is par?
The number of strokes a good player needs for the hole. Your scorecard shows how far over or under par you are.
What happens after six putts?
If the ball is still out after six putts it is picked up and the hole counts seven, so a tricky hole never holds you up for long.
Is the course the same for everyone?
The daily course is: nine of the eighteen holes, chosen from the date. Free play picks nine holes at random.
