About Word Search
Word Search is the relaxed puzzle in the line-up. The words to find are listed beside the grid, and each one runs in a straight line. Easy days keep to across and down, medium days add diagonals, and hard days hide some words backwards.
How to play Word Search
- Find each word from the list in the grid. Words run in straight lines.
- Drag from the first letter to the last, or tap the first letter and then the last.
- With a keyboard: move with the arrow keys, press Space on the first letter and again on the last.
- Easy grids run across and down, medium adds diagonals, hard adds words written backwards. Fastest time wins.
Tips & strategy
- Scan for rare letters first: a Q, Z, X or J narrows down where a word can start.
- Look for the first two letters of a word side by side rather than single letters.
- Start with the longest words. They are easier to spot and leave fewer places for the rest.
- On hard days, read each row from right to left once; backwards words stand out that way.
- Found words are crossed off the list, so keep an eye on what is left to find.
