About Pyramid Solitaire
Pyramid Solitaire is a game of quick sums. Twenty-eight cards form a pyramid of seven rows, and the other twenty-four wait in the stock. Remove free cards in pairs that add up to 13, kings on their own, until the pyramid is gone. A solver checks every daily deal first, so the pyramid can always be cleared.
How to play Pyramid Solitaire
- Remove pairs of free cards that add up to 13: ace counts 1, jack 11, queen 12. A king (13) goes on its own.
- A pyramid card is free when no card covers it from below.
- Tap the stock to turn a card onto the waste; the top waste card can pair with a free pyramid card.
- Clear all 28 pyramid cards to win. Easy allows unlimited passes through the stock, medium three, hard two.
Tips & strategy
- Remember the pairs: ace and queen, two and jack, three and ten, four and nine, five and eight, six and seven.
- Before pairing, look at which cards each choice uncovers; clearing the bottom rows evenly keeps more cards free.
- Do not hurry through the stock on medium and hard days, because the passes are limited.
- If two cards of the same rank are free, take the one that uncovers more of the pyramid.

What counts as a free card?
A pyramid card is free when both cards that overlap it from the row below are gone. The bottom row starts free.
Can I pair the waste card with the next stock card?
No. Only the top waste card can pair, and it pairs with a free pyramid card. Turn the next stock card to see a new one.
How many times can I go through the stock?
As often as you like on easy days, three times on medium days and twice on hard days.
How is Pyramid Solitaire ranked?
By the time taken to clear the pyramid, with fewer moves breaking ties.
