About Strike Lane
Strike Lane is ten-pin bowling seen from above. Swipe up the lane to aim and set the power, curve the swipe to add spin and hook into the pocket, and watch the pins scatter. A full game is ten frames with proper scoring: a strike adds your next two balls, a spare adds the next one, and a strike or spare in the tenth frame earns bonus balls.
How to play Strike Lane
- Swipe up the lane, starting where you want to release the ball: the direction aims and a longer swipe bowls harder.
- Curve the swipe to add spin: the ball hooks that way on the far half of the lane, more on a dry lane.
- Keyboard: left and right arrows move the ball, up and down turn the aim, S changes the spin; hold Space to fill the power meter and let go to bowl.
- Ten frames with official scoring: strikes, spares and up to three balls in the tenth frame. Scores are saved on this device.
Tips & strategy
- Aim for the pocket, just to one side of the head pin, rather than straight at it.
- Medium power with a little spin knocks more pins than a flat-out straight ball.
- For a spare, aim at the pin nearest to you in the group that is left.
- Watch your gutter balls: a ball that leaves the lane cannot come back.
Strike Lane: questions and answers
How does scoring work?
Each frame scores the pins you knock down. A strike also adds your next two balls, and a spare adds your next one. The best possible game is 300.
What happens in the tenth frame?
A strike earns two more balls and a spare one more, so the tenth frame can have three balls.
How do I add spin?
Curve your swipe: a swipe that bows to the right makes the ball hook right on the far half of the lane. On a keyboard, S changes the spin before you bowl.
