About Highway Dash
Highway Dash is a top-down racing game for quick breaks. Your car stays near the bottom of the screen while the road rushes towards you, full of slower cars changing nothing but your heart rate. Switch lanes to slip through gaps, collect fuel cans before the tank runs dry, and see how far you can get as the speed keeps climbing.
How to play Highway Dash
- Steer between lanes to dodge the traffic. The road speeds up the further you go.
- Pick up fuel cans before the gauge runs dry; running out of fuel or crashing ends the run.
- Controls: tap the left or right side of the road, swipe, use the ◀ ▶ buttons, or press the arrow keys (A and D work too). P pauses.
- Your score is the distance driven. The daily challenge has the same traffic for everyone; scores are saved on this device.
Tips & strategy
- Look further up the road than the next car: plan which gap you will use two or three cars ahead.
- Fuel cans are worth a small detour early on, before the traffic gets dense.
- Stay near the middle lanes so you can escape either way.
- Short taps change one lane at a time; there is no need to hold a button.

Can I play with a keyboard?
Yes. Use the left and right arrow keys (or A and D) to change lanes, and P to pause.
Why did the game pause?
It pauses by itself when you switch tabs or scroll the game out of view, so you never crash while you are away.
