About Cake Decorator
Cake Decorator is a relaxed creative game for anyone who likes to make something pretty. Choose a round, square or heart-shaped cake with one to three tiers, pick the sponge and the frosting, pipe a border, then drag on sprinkles, fruit, candles and a topper and write a short message. In Customer orders a new order card arrives each day and you earn up to three stars for matching it; Free decorating has no rules at all.
How to play Cake Decorator
- Choose the shape, the number of tiers, the sponge and the frosting, then add a piped border.
- Drag sprinkles, fruit, candles and toppers onto the cake, or tap one to add it; drag them around or off the cake to remove them. Undo and Clear are always there.
- Write a short message on the top tier. In Customer orders, match the order card for up to three stars.
- Free decorating has no rules. Save your cake as a PNG picture to your device; nothing is uploaded.
Tips & strategy
- Read the whole order card before you start: the shape and the number of tiers are the hardest things to change later.
- Drag decorations to place them exactly, or tap one to drop it in the middle of the cake.
- A matching border and frosting style earn stars as well as the colours.
- Save your favourite cakes as pictures; they are made on your device and never uploaded.
Cake Decorator: questions and answers
How are the stars worked out?
Every part of the order you match earns points: shape, tiers, sponge, frosting colour and style, border, decorations, candles and message. Most of the order earns one star, nearly all two, and a perfect match three.
Can I write anything on the cake?
Short messages of up to 20 letters. A filter keeps rude words off the cakes.
How do I save my cake?
Press Save picture: your cake is drawn as a PNG image on your device and downloaded, with nothing sent to our server.
Is there a time limit?
No. Take as long as you like; the daily order stays the same all day.
