About Cat Breeds Quiz
Cats sleep for a large part of the day, see well in dim light and land on their feet thanks to a quick righting reflex. The Cat Breeds Quiz covers house cats and how they behave, the best-known breeds, such as the Maine Coon, the Siamese, the Persian and the Sphynx, and the wild cats of the world, including Canada’s lynx and cougar. You will also meet famous cats from history, like Félicette, the first cat in space in 1963. Dates and claims were checked against reliable sources, and stories that could not be confirmed were left out.

Tips & strategy
- Coat and colour tell you a lot: pointed colouring, long fur or no fur at all narrows the breed quickly.
- Many breeds are named after a place, but the name is not always where the breed began, so read the explanation.
- Wild cats are grouped as big cats that can roar, like lions and tigers, and smaller cats such as lynxes and ocelots.
