About Mammals Quiz
All mammals feed their young on milk, and almost all of them give birth to live young, but there are wild exceptions: the platypus and the echidna lay eggs. The Mammals Quiz explores the whole group, from the blue whale, the largest animal that has ever lived, to bats, the only mammals that truly fly, and from Canadian animals such as moose, caribou and wood bison to the big cats, primates and marsupials of other continents. Questions cover bodies, families, diets and habits, and facts that experts still argue about, such as the strongest bite, were left out.

- Know the main families: rodents, primates, marsupials, carnivores, hoofed animals and the sea mammals cover most questions.
- Teeth and feet are strong clues: hooves, claws and paws each point to a different group of mammals.
- Remember that rabbits and hares are not rodents; they belong to their own group, the lagomorphs.
