About Canadian Provinces and Territories Quiz
Canada is the second-largest country in the world by area, and its newest territory, Nunavut, was created in 1999. The Canadian Provinces and Territories Quiz covers all 13: their capitals, official flowers, trees and birds, postal code letters, national parks, lakes and the places that make each one different. Symbols are checked against the Government of Canada’s official pages. Easy questions start with how many provinces there are and which capital is which, and the hard ones ask about places such as Gros Morne, the largest lake entirely inside Canada and the bird that represents Prince Edward Island.

Tips & strategy
- Learn the first letter of each postal code: it is the same across a whole province, A for Newfoundland and Labrador and V for British Columbia.
- Provincial symbols often match the landscape: think of the prairie lily in Saskatchewan and the purple violet in New Brunswick.
- The three territories are in the north, and their capitals, Whitehorse, Yellowknife and Iqaluit, show up in most daily sets.
