About Capitals of Europe Quiz
Zurich, Milan, Barcelona, Istanbul and Saint Petersburg are some of Europe’s best-known cities, and none of them is a capital. The Capitals of Europe Quiz is built around traps like these. Each day you get ten questions on the capitals of Europe’s countries, from the big western capitals to the smaller states of the Balkans and the Baltic, plus questions that ask which big city is not a capital or which country a well-known city is in. The easy questions start with Paris and Rome; the hard ones reach the capitals of Moldova, North Macedonia and Liechtenstein.

Tips & strategy
- When a city sounds too famous to be wrong, check it again: the trick questions are built on famous cities that are not capitals.
- Group the Baltic and Balkan capitals together and learn them as small sets; they make up most of the hard questions.
- Remember the microstates: Vaduz, Valletta, San Marino and Andorra la Vella turn up near the end of a set.
