About Famous Landmarks Quiz
Imagine a world tour in ten stops. The Famous Landmarks Quiz asks where great buildings and natural wonders are, from the Eiffel Tower, the CN Tower and the Great Wall to Petra, Angkor Wat and Machu Picchu. Other questions ask which landmark fits a description, such as the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World or the bridge in Venice named after the sighs of prisoners. The first questions are famous places that most people have seen in pictures; the last ones are castles, temples and monuments that only well-travelled players will know. Every landmark, country and city has been checked.

- Most correct answers ranks first, then the fastest time. Only a member’s first finished quiz of the day counts for the leaderboard.
Tips & strategy
- Look for clues in the name: a word in Spanish, Italian or Japanese often points straight to the country.
- Natural landmarks are in the quiz too, such as Ha Long Bay, the Grand Canyon and Uluru, so do not assume every answer was built.
- Think about age and style: a Gothic cathedral, a Khmer temple and an Inca city each belong to one part of the world.
