About Times Tables Quiz
Knowing the times tables by heart makes almost every other kind of math easier. The Times Tables Quiz practises the facts from 1 × 1 to 12 × 12 in several forms: straight products, missing numbers, such as 7 × ? = 56, and the division facts that go with them. The first questions use the easier tables, such as 2, 5 and 10, and the last ones use the 7, 8, 11 and 12 tables that trip people up. It suits students learning their tables and anyone keeping their mental arithmetic sharp, and the daily leaderboard rewards speed as well as accuracy.

Tips & strategy
- Use the patterns: the 9 times table goes up by ten and down by one, and its digits always add up to 9.
- Multiplication works both ways, so 7 × 8 is the same as 8 × 7: you only need to learn half of the facts.
- For the 12 times table, take the 10 times answer and add double the number: 12 × 6 is 60 + 12.
